The new Bullion256 Core Wallet RC1 is a fully branded MacOS wallet release designed to make joining the network simple and fast.
This means Mac users can go from download to live wallet and mining-ready setup in just minutes.
To install the wallet correctly, follow the release notes exactly.
If the app is launched from a temporary location, macOS App Translocation can cause the wallet folder and daemon paths to load incorrectly.
Running from Applications ensures stable behavior and correct folder handling.

Bullion256 Core Wallet RC1 is designed to reduce setup friction and get users into the network fast.
That means no source build, no manual daemon launch, and no advanced setup just to get started.
The wallet GUI shows chain height and balances at launch, but full sync may still be in progress.
Use the Refresh button after the node syncs to update:
Closing the wallet window does not automatically stop the daemon.
The daemon may continue running in the background until the Mac shuts down or it is manually stopped.
Normal Mac shutdown is generally safe, but during heavy activity you may prefer to fully close the wallet and stop the daemon manually first.
